This year the selection committee donated approximately $200,000 to selected charities in Baton Rouge, LA, as well as $30,000 to The Arc of the Capital Area in Austin, TX and $10,000 to support a campaign for LLS's Woman of the Year in Charlotte, NC.

In response to the disruption caused by COVID 19 Pandemic in communities all across the U.S., the TJM Family Foundation decided to support initiatives that provided meals to children in need and health care workers in Baton Rouge, LA. The foundation also purchased gift cards from the Keep BR Serving program for Mary Bird Perkins - Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center's staff to show gratitude for the increased hours and risk they endured during the pandemic.
Keep BR Serving is an area-wide gift card campaign supporting local restaurants and servers. TJMFF donated 500 restaurant gift cards to all the staff at Mary Bird Perkins - Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center.
To benefit BRAF feeding initiatives during the pandemic, including Three O'clock Project, which delivered meals to local children in need, and Fueling the Fight to feed health care workers during the pandemic.
All the charitable organizations that received grants in the second year of giving by the TJM Family Foundation are listed below. A total of $170,000 was donated to organizations based in Louisiana and $50,000 was awarded to charities in Texas where the selection committee members reside.
2017 was the first year of giving for the TJM Family Foundation and the board selected several Baton Rouge charities to receive financial support. A total of $220,000 was donated to the Baton Rouge nonprofit organizations, including several causes that T.J. supported during his life. The selection committee also donated $30,000 to charities based in their own communities.
