Who We Are · Our Mission

The Foundation brings generations of the Moran family together through purposeful giving, creating a shared way to honor T.J.’s legacy while supporting causes that make a meaningful difference.

Each generation has the opportunity to participate, learn and help shape how that legacy continues.

Our Founder

Thomas Joseph “T.J.” Moran

Thomas Joseph “T.J.” Moran believed in finding a way to make things a little better every day. That philosophy shaped his approach to business, community and philanthropy, particularly in Baton Rouge, where he made his greatest impact.

Before his death in 2015, T.J. established the Foundation to carry that spirit of giving forward. Today, his children and grandchildren continue his legacy by supporting organizations and communities meaningful to their family.
